Slide purchased from E-Bay. Only data available was a development imprint date of Dec 1960 on the slide mount and a location of Stapelton Airport, Denver CO stated by the seller. High magnification of the tail number was initially thought to be 57-2545, a 5th FIS Minot AFB ND bird. Later examination with even higher magnification proved it to be 57-2546, a 319th FIS Bunker Hill AFB IN bird. So, I'm leaving the thumbnail photo on both 57-2545 & 57-2546's page but Marty & I believe the bird to be 57-2546 after 13X optical magnification. Sure raises a lot of questions of why a F-106 would be at Stapelton in 1960 unless some sort of emergency as ground support would have been minimal.
