The following F-106s were assigned to the 49th FIS at Griffiss AB NY between 30 Sept 1968 to stand-down ceremony on 07 Jul 1987 as the last active USAF F-106 unit, formally deactivated on 30 Sept 1987. A total of 46 F-106s were assigned with 8 losses and 1 write-off.
